A piece with historical context

A compact and meticulous reproduction of the best-known German cipher machine of the Second World War.

Built to order and assembled by hand, it preserves the proportions and principal visible details of an Enigma I in a format particularly suited to collections, exhibitions, museums, educational settings and historically themed interiors.

The piece reproduces the QWERTZ keyboard, lampboard, three rotors, front plugboard, identification plates and the visible details inside the lid. Its surfaces, tones, inscriptions and finishes recreate the visual presence of the historic machine and its distinctive carrying case.

The upper rotor cover and the front plugboard cover can be opened, and the case closes completely. The rotors, keys, plugs and cables are fixed display elements. This is not an operational cipher machine.

Dimensions with the case closed: 14 cm wide, 17 cm deep and 7 cm high.

OPTIONAL DISPLAY BASE

The replica can be supplied secured to a 33.5 × 22.5 cm display base. The base presents historical and technical information about the model, turning the ensemble into a self-contained interpretation piece for showcases, museums, exhibitions, classrooms or private collections.

The panel can be produced in any language and customised with alternative wording, dedications, logos or QR codes. This makes it particularly suitable for corporate, institutional and commemorative gifts. Every layout is adapted to the available space before production.
